Sunflower Garden
The Morning Garden is for 3-4 year old children who are ready to be in a group environment, but prefer to be home in the afternoon. The children are expected to be able to use the toilet with help, but we are prepared for occasional accidents. Weather permitting, this class spends most of their time outdoors. Although the main language is English, the children in this class are also exposed to Spanish songs and verses every day. A sample rhythm for the class: 8:45 am Greetings Outdoor Free Play 9:30 am Circle Time: Seasonal songs and movement Gardening 10:00 am Outdoor Snack Time: organic seasonal fruit and nuts. Gardening / Tricycle riding 10:30 am Seasonal Craft / Puppet Story Time / Tending to our toys 11:00 am Indoor Free Play 11:30 am Nature Walk 12:00 pm Lunch 12:15 pm - 12:30 pm Pick-up The morning garden meets right now on Mondays and Thursdays 9am - 2:45pm and Fridays 9am-12:30pm. Children have the option to enroll till 2:45pm or only till lunchtime. Children can be dropped-off in the morning starting at 8am.
