Bayou Village School offers a holistic approach to academic excellence that respects the wonder of childhood, preserves children's passion for learning, allows children to develop a strong connection with nature and fosters the development of children's imagination and creativity.

In an environment that embraces the beauty of nature and cultivates respect for it, Bayou Village School prepares children to meet the challenges of our world and the future with clarity of thought, a caring heart, and the confidence to initiate change.

As a 501c3 non-profit, Bayou Village School relies on donors to support our program. Your financial donations are focused and contribute towards these three areas of giving:

- Building and Grounds: Bayou Village School has undergone a variety of renovations through the years including the purchasing of our new Hardy property in 2015, the purchasing of an adjacent lot for a playground expansion in 2016, and various improvements and renovations to both our building and playground. 
- Financial Aid: Bayou Village School offers financial aid to our mixed kindergarten and grades families who qualify. In the last two years alone, we have granted $215,000 in financial assistance to families to help offset the cost of tuition. 
- Teacher Training: Bayou Village School provides financial supplementation to all teachers each year of $1,000-$5,000 interested in growing professionally through Waldorf training programs. Over the last 5 years, BVS has offered $95,000 providing 7 different teachers the opportunity towards Waldorf certification.
